Update: Monday, July 11, 2022, 10:50 am BST: After being leaked by a listing from Best Buy, Nickelodeon Kart Racer 3: Slime Speedway has been officially confirmed by the publisher GameMill Entertainment. Nothing was shown beyond the information available via leaks, but we did get a glimpse of the game’s new logo.

Looks like the latest entry in Nickelodeon Kart Racer The franchise has been leaked through the retailer listing from Best Buy. The sequel to Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix will be called Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway and will launch later this year on October 7, 2022.
It’s strange, isn’t it? Video games never open..! Guffaw!
Anyway, the news gathered speed as it was reported by famous game enthusiasts Wario64 and has since been reported by many stores (thanks to GoNintendo for this one!):
As for what Slime Speedway will look like, we still don’t know for sure, but we do have quite a bit of information about the game through the listing. Here are some highlights:
- The game will include a cast of more than 40 characters
- You can turn your kart or bike into a water vehicle to tackle various terrains
- Bragged “millions” of customization options
- 36 different tracks featured
- 90 crew members
- Multiplayer via online or local split-screen play
The first two Nickelodeon Kart Racer titles are available on Switch, and while We think the first item is kinda pantsthe sequel has improved a lot compared to the original attempt, getting a 7/10 in our rating. How the third item will be fair is anyone’s guess at this stage.
Hopefully we’ll get the official Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway announcement sooner rather than later.
