With Gran Turismo World Series 2022 Online Season 1 now complete, attention will turn to the top ranked players who are gearing up for some of the top events available to watch online. There’s a lot of action going on on Gran Turismo 7 over the next two weeks.
The first is Round 1 of the World Series. Top representatives from the top 12 manufacturers will compete for the Producer Cup. While the top 16 of the Nations Cup 2021 can be out the next day – Sunday, July 24 at 6am PDT/2pm BST.
The action will continue next weekend, but this time with a live event. The World Series Showdown will bring together top riders from around the world at the spectacular Red Bull Hangar-7 in Salzburg, Austria. The first gathering of Gran Turismo players since the World Tour event in Sydney in early 2020 will be streamed live, with 12 teams of three drivers battling it out in the Producers tournament on Saturday, the 30th. July at 12pm PDT/8pm BST and 32 riders head for Nations Cup glory on Sunday, July 31 at 12pm PDT/8pm BST.
Last year’s Manufacturers Cup champions Team Toyota looked strong in the online series, but 2019 champions Subaru has a number of drivers competing to reclaim the top spot in the upcoming races. . Meanwhile, the series welcomes newcomers to Genesis, who will be represented in the Round 1 broadcast and in Salzburg.
At the Nations Cup, the established stars of 2021 will face off against the fastest drivers from Online Season 1 in Salzburg. The stakes are high as they are vying for a spot in the next two rounds of the World Series and the World Finals in Monaco in November. The 2021 champion, Italy’s Valerio Gallo, will be the man it’s all about. they all aim to defeat.
