Porsche 911 GT3 RS ‘Tribute to Carrera RS’ More Classic Style
While this may not come as a surprise to most of you, Porsche’s new GT3 RS no great beauty. It’s wild, violent, aero-before-all, no car barrier that doesn’t really care about style. Except now Porsche has come out and put one of the best color combinations of all time on the new GT3 RS to celebrate Classic Carrera RS from the 1970sand the result is surprisingly great.
The package titled “Tribute to Carrera RS” was announced on Fridayand add a lovely white color with stripes and Python Green wheelsit also has some more special details that can capture the heart of any real Porsche racing nerd. Starting with option Weissach pack, Which net are you? ton carbon fiber aero features and magnesium wheels, the Tribute to Carrera RS Package gets you get Python blue decals and mirror caps, plus the classic RS logo on the end plate for the giant rear wing.
Inside there are special “Tribute to Carrera RS” sill plates, the RS logo is embossed on the center console cover, and you get white painted keys. But the specials don’t stop there. For each vehicle, Porsche will include a unique Porsche Design watch, along with custom tires, a special license plate frame and a pair of 1:43 . scale models car – one of Classic Carrera RS and another by this new car. Finally, Porsche included an NFT with the car because some people (apart from the money launderers) is probably still of interest to those.
If you want a GT3 RS with the Tribute to Carrera RS Package, you’re better off getting a GT3 RS allocation with your dealer; If not, you’re in luck, buddy. For those of you, the GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS will retail for a pretty hefty $314,000, including fees up to $1,450.

Are green decals and wheels, etc., worth an additional $50,500 over the price of a regular GT3 RS with the Weissach Package? From a lap-time standpoint, probably not. But Porsche is the best in the business at incorporating its heritage into new special editions, and we’re certain the company will have no trouble finding a home for every one of these cars.
