A team of animal rescuers in New York is looking for foster homes so rescue dogs don’t have to spend their days off alone.
Second Chance Rescue NYC Dogs searched tirelessly for nurtured people but speak, “The well is very dry lately.”
Rescues take some of the worst cases for abandoned and abused animals and give them a second chance. They save thousands of lives each year thanks to their amazing staff, volunteers, sponsors, foster caretakers and adopters.

A charming Bichon mix named Manfred is also looking for a cozy and warm bed for the holidays. The sassy girl is friendly and loves to go for walks, play fetch and cuddle on the couch.

Anyone interested in fostering is required to fill out a rescue application website. This page also answers many frequently asked questions about foster care and provides rescue team foster home requests.
Counselors help approved foster owners find a dog or cat that will do well in their home environment.
