Jose Ramirez, the former 140-pound unified titleholder, will return after a 13-month layoff against veteran Rances Barthelemy on Saturday in Fresno, California (DAZN).
Additionally, in the co-feature, undefeated 154-pound contender Vergil Ortiz Jr. is expected to face Thomas Dulorme.
Ramirez (28-1, 18 KOs) has outlasted Jose Pedraza and knocked out Richard Commey since he lost the title to Josh Taylor by unanimous decision in 2021. Barthelemy (30-2-1, 15 KOs ) is a 38-year-old tennis player – former owner of two old divisions.
Ortiz stopped all 20 of his opponents, including Fredrick Lawson in his junior middleweight debut in January. Dulorme (26-6-1, 17 KOs) is stopping journeyman Abrahan Peralta, who has snapped a three-fight losing streak.
