There are many things to deal with when you buy a new home. And sometimes, the previous owners leave something for you to find. They can leave anything from trash to hidden gems.
But when a couple in St. Louis was in the process of moving into their new home, they were shocked when they opened the basement door to find a sweet Pit Bull that had been chained and left behind.
It’s certainly not uncommon to find that the previous owners of your new property have left something behind, but that’s usually not a living, breathing organism!
A pair of new homeowners are shocked to discover a female Pit Bull has been left alone in their cold, dark basement. They call it Rescue St. Louis is lost almost immediately after she was discovered.
When rescuers arrived, they slowly and cautiously climbed down the basement stairs because they didn’t know how she would react. Of course, they had snacks on hand, just in case she needed convincing to go upstairs. But as soon as she saw her rescuers, her tail wagged like crazy and she started reaching out as far as she could to kiss them.
The poor dog was tied to the steps. After she was finally freed, they went down to the basement to investigate if she had lived for an indefinite amount of time. Not only was the basement floor completely filthy, but it was also full of trash and piled up behind piles of discarded debris. It was absolutely disgusting down there, and there wasn’t any evidence of food or water being left behind for this precious little girl.
As soon as she could, the beautiful girl started jumping for joy and began to greet everyone she saw. She is super sweet and wants all the pets she can get. Naturally, this led the rescuers to name her “Jumping Bean” and she was completely ecstatic with her entire journey of freedom from where she was abandoned.
Three months later, this adorable baby girl has found the family of her dreams. And although it took her a while to settle in, she is very happy to finally spend her days lovingly, just as she deserves.
