TOBA announces educational seminars for 2023
Today, the Purebred Breeders and Owners Association announced the schedule for its 2023 educational workshops. These events have different themes for potential, new and established Purebred owners and breeders.
The 2023 schedule is listed below:
* March 19-20 — Ocala, Florida
* June 23-24 — Toronto, Canada
* July 27-28 — Del Mar, California
*August 10-11 — Saratoga Springs, New York*
* October 23 — Lexington, Kentucky
*Estimated date for Saratoga; All others confirm
“We are excited to announce some great venues for our 2023 educational workshops,” said Samantha Smith, TOBA’s Director of Marketing, Events & Partners. reach more people by expanding the agenda to both ownership and breeding topics at each workshop, as well as offering a variety of locations throughout the United States and Canada.”
Specific topics, speakers and sponsors for each workshop will be announced separately near each event. Each conference this year will cover topics relevant to both purebred owners and breeders. Topics may include, but are not limited to: horse racing and stable management, general training practices, common breeding practices, farm and foal management, communication between owners and trainers, selection of horses with a breeder, general veterinary concerns, nutrition and health topics, partnerships, pedigree theory, shape analysis and business issues horses such as accounting and insurance.
Educational seminars for both members and non-members, with discounts for members of TOBA or any host/sponsor organization. Meals, documents and TOBA gift bags are included with registration.
Prices are as follows:
* 2-day workshop: $295/Non-Member $245/Member
* 1-day workshop: $145/Non-Member $99/Member
