“Reduce” Fossil Fuel Production Instead of Imprisoning Protesters – Speeding With That?

The Australian federal government-owned ABC argues that climate extremists are just trying to show us the disruption that climate chaos will bring.

If NSW wants to stop climate change protests, there is an alternative to jailing activists.

If the New South Wales government and the opposition want to stop climate-disrupting protests, the answer may be hiding in plain sight and it is not imprisoning the protesters.

Some of those arrested have been charged with adultery — a serious crime that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

Responding to criticism, NSW Prime MinisterDominic Perrottet said the results were “nice to see” and if “protesters want to put our way of life in jeopardy, then they should throw the book at them”.

“We want people to be able to protest, but you should do it in a way that doesn’t inconvenience people across New South Wales,” the Prime Minister said earlier this week.

He’s right. At least in his description of the climate protests. They are inconvenient. That’s the point.

Climate protests specifically aim to give a small, controlled taste of the massive disruptions climate change has causedand will cause on a much larger scale in the future.

Is New South Wales — or for that matter, the federal government — has done so, it is unlikely that Ms. Coco’s protest will happen.

But they don’t.

Never used the word “N”.

If climate protestors were serious about reducing CO2, instead of constantly satisfying their Trotskyite fantasies of global revolution, they would hold their noses and join conservatives in embracing energy. nuclear quantity.

France demonstrated in the 1970s that carbon-free nuclear power could replace fossil fuels. No need for fossil fuel redundancy when you have a carbon-free nuclear power plant that reliably produces 24×7 energy.

How long has the stalemate over CO2 emissions persisted, between conservatives and libertarians over net zero and renewables? How long does the green want it to last?

Nuclear power is acceptable to conservatives, who are the main opponents of trillions of dollars spent on useless, unreliable renewable energy. The stalemate between the greens and the conservatives, and the fact that renewables don’t work so well, has prevented significant decarbonisation of the global economy for decades – except in places like France, which has very low emissions per capita due to its acceptance of nuclear energy.

So why don’t the green parties try to compromise and accept a solution that works and is accepted by their political opponents, for the good of the planet?

In my opinion, the obvious reason is climate change is not their real priority. It’s government control of the economy they aspire to, backdoor communism. The fake climate crisis is just an excuse for the green political “reform” leftists to want to inflict on society.

The Greens don’t even try to be subtle, in fact most of them think that reducing CO2 emissions and destroying Capitalism is a package deal.

Prove me wrong green – a time group like Fireproof Australia follow Greta Thunberg’s lead and start protesting for more nuclear poweror support South Australian Prime Minister’s recent call for civilian nuclear reactors. The moment green groups stop fighting on two fronts, by abandoning their ludicrous war against the most successful economic system ever developed, they may suddenly discover that they are winning. in the fight to decarbonize the global economy.
