Raeese Aleem Best Eduardo Baez Decided
By: Sean Crose
Unbeatable superweight, 18-0, Raeese Aleem appeared at the Park Theater in Las Vegas on Saturday to face Eduardo Baez 20-1-2 in the scheduled 10th round. Aleem looked sharp, trained well and worked the first time around. Baez performed better in the second, but Aleem’s deliberate approach seemed to tell the story. Aleem rocked his men in the third inning, but Baez remained calm. Baez is definitely the fourth round game, but Aleem seems to have made it through. However, Baez is starting to overwhelm the opponent.
The fifth case was a fun, high-octane affair, to which every man was dedicated. A nasty headbutt occurred in season six, leaving Baez’ with a mark on his face. Aleem looks like he will rush into the seventh part. Eight is a tough chapter, with each man landing well. Both men built it on the ninth. It’s a diversion, tiring all around. However, Aleem was chopping down his body as if Baez were a tree. The tenth saw both men continue to grind.
Aleem ultimately won through majority decision.
