An exciting flyweight title fight is coming this weekend at OVO Arena Wembley in London between defending IBF champion Sunny Edwards and Andres Campos. The scheduled round of 12 will be broadcast live on DAZN on Saturday and will not only decide who steps out of the ring with the IBF title belt, but also both fighters will be undefeated, Edwards currently 19. -0 or current 15-0 Campos. Although defending champion Edwards will fight in front of his hometown audience, Campos showed nothing but confidence as he led the opening bell.

“Sunny Edwards has never played against anyone like me,” said Chile’s Campos. “By far, I am the best opponent he will face. I have a lot of experience fighting against and defeating the undefeated from both amateurs and pros. I am hungry for success. I am very hungry to win this World Title and make history for Chile. While readily recognizing Edwards as a skilled ring fighter, Campos presents himself as simply the better of the two.

“Sunny Edwards is good,” he said, “but he is not good enough to beat me. I know I’m better than him and I’ll show you all on Saturday night. I have three scenarios: scenario A, B and C. We practiced very hard for each scenario. Sunny won’t be able to run away from me like a dancer. He just jumps and runs all the time. I’ll put him to bed before the twelfth inning. Although quite outspoken, Campos insists he is not the type to look down on opponents before a match.

“I never talk trash,” he said. “I always talk in the ring and let my fists run the business. Sunny is famous for her trash talk, not for boxing. Chile has no world champions and I will make history for my country and the South American continent. I will be the first. The IBF World title is very special to me.” And the fact that he had to face Edwards in front of the man’s hometown crowd?

Campos said: “Competing in the UK for the first time as a professional athlete didn’t faze me at all. “As a pro, I have played in Australia and Argentina. It’s not a big change for me. Remember, I’ve done almost all of my 95 matches outside of my home country. I have represented Chile around the world. I don’t feel any pressure. Fighting here in the UK is no big deal to me. Indeed, Campos shows that he is actually more popular among the two boxers not only in his native Chile but also in England.

“Ever since I came to the UK last week,” he said, “everyone that I meet in the gym, in the mall and on the street – everyone tells me I have to beat That Sunny Edwards chatter. Everyone who talks to me about Sunny Edwards wants me to beat him. They all want me to be the first to beat him.”
