Official Pokemon The YouTube channel has uploaded a new music video as part of the ongoing Piplup Project. Music videos with themes ending in Pokemon Diamond Pearl Animated series along with animations of Pokemon penguins. Notably, the music video also includes various nods and references to the 16-year-old anime series.
The music video, titled “It’ll be OK!,” includes a total of four ending themes from the anime’s original. These include “By Your Side ~Hikari Theme~”, “Definitely Tomorrow”, “Message of the Wind” and “In Your Heart LaLaLa.” Singing the ending themes is veteran voice actor Megumi Toyoguchi, who played Hikari (aka Dawn) in the anime. At one point, bubbles formed around Piplup and displayed scenes from the original credits ending scenes, such as Piplup at the beach and at the fireworks festival.
Project Piplup or Project Pochama, after Pokemon’s Japanese name, is a project that started back in 2021. This initiative aims to bring attention to the fourth generation starter Pokemon. The project also has Twitter account and website. The project started as a way to promote Brilliant diamond and Shining pearls redo released last year.
