I will work for free using the thermometer on my front porch
I would take a thermometer reading at 8 a.m. daily and multiply this by a special bias factor to estimate the average global temperature for that day.
I’ll stick that number on a sign in my front yard so journalists can read it from their reporting helicopters for the morning news.
Everyone can have a good time — they get the VERY important global average temperature of the day on the morning news — and then they can relax and get on with their lives.
