How to access the Flying Blue awards calendar
Prize calendars are extremely useful for flexible travelers as they show different prize prices for the whole month. This can help you determine which days have the lowest reward rates and then when you can choose to travel.
Check out the one-way business class flight from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) in the fall on the Air France or KLM website.
After logging in to your Flying Blue account, select “Book with Miles”. Enter your search criteria, but leave the departure date field blank.
By leaving the departure date blank, you will see a calendar view on the next page with the lowest reward prices for the next 11 months.
I switched to November 7, which offers 65,000-mile one-way business class flights.
