Nine smallest displacement V12s ever produced
inline-six It’s an amazing engine. It’s naturally balanced, sounds great, and will be easier to work with. But if one inline-six is good, two inline-sixes are even better. Therefore, V12. Ok, that’s usually not how it works, but you get the point. V12 is glorious.
But normally, we think of a V12 as a large displacement engine. And it makes sense. They are large engines with many cylinders in cars that usually produce large amounts of power. But not all V12 engines have a displacement of 6.0 liters or more. In fact, over the years, quite a few were even smaller than 3.5 liters. Let’s take a look at nine of them.
