The new Volkswagen T-Roc CityLife is a special base version
volkswagen is introducing a small special version of it T-Roc crossover, but it’s a bit different from a regular special edition.
Instead of taking an existing model and adding more accessory sets, CityLife instead serves as a base variant for the range.
It costs $35,990 before on-road expensesor $1110 less than the existing 110TSI Style base model.
It’s available to order right now, with arrivals starting in September. Volkswagen says CityLife will be here in “significant” numbers, like the rest of the T-Roc The lineup remains one of the brand’s least-stocked models.
Instead of the Style’s ‘Performance’ LED headlights, the CityLife features LED reflector headlights. It also swapped the Style’s 18-inch alloy wheels for the 17s.
Inside, it is distinguished by various upholstery fabrics, as well as tin-alloy matte inlays.
Like Style, it is powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 110kW power and 250Nm of torque. It is paired exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Featured specs for CityLife include:
- Reflective LED headlight with assist light

Backed by strong supply – and perhaps backed by supply issues for Golf And Tiguan – The T-Roc has taken over the title of Volkswagen’s best-selling car since the beginning of the year.
The brand has sold 2410 units this year, surpassing the Tiguan (2233 units) and the T-Cross (1904 units).
