Honda ST125 Dax launched in Europe

I’m just giving this opinion: motorcycle press photos need more dogs in them. It just works, and when they are combined with a small motorcycle like the Honda Dax… well, it makes perfect sense.

As an early 2023 model, the Honda ST125 Dax is a continuation of Big Red’s miniMoto lineup, using the same 9hp, 124cc, SOHC two-valve engine as above. Honda Super Cub 125complete with automatic clutch handling shifting for the four-speed transmission.

The pressed steel frame is a monolithic design, and also doubles as the bike’s one-gallon (3.8-litre) gas tank. Thus, the entire bike weighs 236 lbs (107kg) at the curb and is ready to go.

Fit for two-way riding, decked out with LED lighting and single-channel ABS, the retro-styled machine is another addition to Honda’s entry-level small-displacement line.

However, Dax’s original version never made it to American shores and it’s unclear if this latest edition will ever appear. Currently, Honda only introduces Honda ST125 Dax 2023 as a European model (however, no information on pricing yet).

Produced at Honda’s factory in Thailand, however, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to imagine the Dax reaching other markets, should such a need be met. So, Have your say in the comments.
