A woman walks into an apartment building and sees a dog standing there. He was left with only skin and bones. Looks like the dog is waiting for someone… someone won’t come back. Despite the abuse, a dog’s loyalty will continue to shine through. Dogs are such adorable creatures and will often overlook the cruelty their owners have inflicted on them. Sadly for the puppy, later named Hilly, his time alone in that building was filled with frustration and heartache.
The woman decides to leave Hilly in the building in case its owner returns. Either way, the dog was reluctant to go with her. But she came back the next day. Hilly is still there. She gave him food and water but he refused to come near. Unfortunately, the dog was loyal to a fault. Hilly also had to bandage her leg. Maybe the wound was too expensive to treat and its owner abandoned it. This is unforgivable and disgusting behavior but sadly it happens all too often.
The kind lady picked up Hilly and put him in the car. Now he is safe. As her friend drove, she stroked Hilly’s face and he looked at her like he wanted to cry. As if he missed his master, despite everything he’d been through. Painful. The two women took Hilly straight to the vet. The vet was shocked by the dog’s appearance and understandably asked a lot of questions. The dog was dehydrated and malnourished, and of course, significantly underweight. Thankfully, Hilly was discharged two days later and the woman was happy to bring him home.
What happens next is simply amazing! Kindness has been shown to Hilly, he assures that he will pay off! Hilly’s transformation, ability to form lasting friendships and help other animals in need of a friend is AMAZING! Thank you to the rescuers who found Hilly and gave him a beautiful new life.
