Ah, Super monkey ball… Since its debut in 2001, Sega’s platformer, puzzle-solving, party extravaganza has had its ups and downs over the years, but remains a favorite among gamers like – especially those with a certain penchant for Nintendo consoles.
In fact, Super Monkey Ball has appeared on almost every Nintendo platform, Wii U (pause for the little violin) since its inception, making it almost as synonymous with The Big N as the franchises. Franchise brands such as Animal pass, Mario Partyand – however bizarre it may be – Sonic the Hedgehog.
However, with each new entry in the series, it feels like for every step forward Sega has made, there’s another step back to follow. Upcoming Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble got us thinking about the series and where this particular ball would land compared to the rest.
So, with that in mind, we thought it was time we let you good guys determine which Super Monkey Ball game is the best of the best (on Nintendo consoles).
