The Fisker Ocean hasn’t received an official EPA range rating for the United States, but Fisker last week announced a 440-mile range rating for the electric crossover during the European WLTP test cycle.
WLTP figures are typically higher than US EPA ratings, so Oceania will likely receive a lower range rating on this side of the Atlantic. Currently, the Ocean offers a much wider range than the Tesla Model Y in the European market. On the WLTP cycle, the Model Y is currently rated at 331 miles in Long Range form, 319 miles in Performance form, and 282 miles and 267 miles in base rear-wheel drive with 19-inch and 20-inch wheels. inches, respectively.

However, Ocean is not yet available in Europe—or the United States. In a press release announcing the 440-mile range rating, Fisker said it expects European regulatory approval by April 28, with deliveries after that. The company says deliveries in the US are expected to begin mid-year.
Contract producer Magna Ocean production started November last year, but so far it has been slow going. As of earlier this month, Fisker reports that Magna has only produced 56 Oceans. It precedes plans to build more than 42,000 of them this year.

Fisker is said to be looking Expand production for Ocean. Last August, the company said strong demand could warrant an expansion of production in 2024, starting with Magna and potentially including a second manufacturing facility in the US.
Fisker pear worth $29,900 is also said to be on the road. The Pear—short for “Personal Electric Car Revolution”—is aimed at the 300-mile EPA range, and it is expected to be built by Foxconn at the former General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio. Fisker said last month that it had more than 5,600 pre-orders for the Pear — all before it released any form or comprehensive specs. A reveal is expected later this year, with production set to begin in 2024.
