After losing Hyatt’s Globalist status in February and accepting the reality of its lower tier status with World of Hyatt (free full breakfast RIP, suite upgrade and late check out 4 p.m.), a great opportunity just appeared to receive Hyatt’s top status through 2025.

Bilt Rewards is offering a chance to win Hyatt Globalist status with 20 nights instead of the usual 60 nights if you sign up before April 1 and complete your stay from April 17 – July 16. That in itself would be remarkable, but it’s especially good the moment you can pile on Hyatt’s new rewards program, Bounty Journey, currently underway. With that promotion, every two nights after your first stay (after your first stay during the pomo period) will award 3,000 bonus points, for up to 30 nights.
Theoretically, if you completed 20 qualifying nights at Hyatt Category 1 with 3,500 points per night to earn Hyatt Globalist through February 2025 through the Bilt promotion, you would lose 70,000 World of points. Hyatt. However, if you earn 3,000 bonus points every two nights (after your first stay), you could end up getting 27,000 Hyatt reward points, which means your out-of-pocket cost to earn Globalist can be as low as 43,000 points.
TPG values 43,000 Hyatt points at $731, but TPG Hyatt’s Global Status at a much higher price of $4,950.
Exact pricing aside, World of Hyatt Globalist is one of those absolute favorite status. Last year, I used the suite upgrade of Hyatt Globalist status at Park Hyatt Paris Vendome and score a set when redeeming for just 40,000 World of Hyatt points per night when it sells for thousands of dollars per night.
I also used World of Hyatt points at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. My Globalization got me into the wonderful Regency Club, with sweeping views of the City of Lights and the Eiffel Tower in the distance (oh, and the ‘free’ food).
Unfortunately, I didn’t qualify back to Globalist in 2023 at the usual 60-night threshold and was relegated to Explorist status. But with this new challenge, that won’t last long.
How to Enroll
In case you missed it, Bilt members can sign up for an incredible 90-day trial of World of Hyatt. Anyone can become a Bilt member with no fees or credit cards.

Once you do that, you only have until April 1st to apply for this challenge. Then, during the 90-day trial that starts on April 17, you can won World of Hyatt status that will last until February 2025. You get Adventurer status by staying 10 qualifying nights and staying at the top tier globalization status by staying 20 nights are eligible.

Link your Bilt Rewards and Hyatt account in the Bilt app under the Travel tab.
From March 28 to April 1, open the Bilt app and select “Unlock World of Hyatt Elite Status” on the Rental Dates tab.
Once done, you will receive a confirmation that you have signed up for the trial. Bilt promises everyone will be informed of the details later.
During your challenge, you’ll receive World of Hyatt Explorist perks for the duration of your challenge until July 16. Key details are qualifying awards nights and current elite memberships are also eligible.
Note that you will not earn Hyatt Milestone Rewards unless you stay the required number of nights for those milestones. For example, to unlock Hyatt categories 1 – 7 award nights, you’ll still need to stay the full 60 nights in 2023 as required by that reward.

Stacking the Reward Journey promotion
According to the previously mentioned Bonus Journey promotion that runs until May 26 — in addition to 3,000 points awarded every two nights after your first stay, if you have Hyatt World Credit Card or World of Hyatt corporate credit card — you can earn 500 bonus points for every two night stay at participating hotels in 10 select cities, up to 30 nights (or 7,500 bonus points in total).
Cities eligible for the 500 bonus point promotion are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Tokyo and Washington, DC. You must book at the qualifying rate. Unlike the broader offer, this one starts on the first stay.

Hot and exciting promotions are not very common these days, but this promotion was enough to make me smile and make me seriously book some trips.
although one recent devaluationIn my opinion, World of Hyatt remains the most lucrative loyalty program out there. I look forward to once again basking in the warm glory of World of Hyatt’s Globalist status.
