2022 Hyundai Elantra N is the most affordable N car at $32,925
When Hyundai Kona WOMEN top of the price range for Hyundai’s N models, 2022 Elantra N slides right below Cousin Veloster to be the cheapest way to get a Korean-style slim fit. The standard version with a six-speed manual starts at $32,925 including destination. That makes it $600 less than the equivalent Veloster.
The Elantra N is also available with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and that version has a power sunroof. It costs $34,425. Again, that’s $600 less than the comparable Veloster, and the Veloster doesn’t have a sunroof. And of course, the Elantra has significantly more rear seat space and more beautiful interior than Veloster, though without the versatility of a hatchback.
No matter the gearbox, the Elantra N has the familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 276 horsepower and 289 pound-feet of torque. The car has an electronically controlled mechanical limited-slip differential, electronically adjustable steering and damping modes, sport seats (with heating), and conveniences such as dual-zone automatic climate control, dual-zone automatic climate control. Bose audio and wireless phone charging.
