Volkswagen Fest 2022 this weekend at Sentul Depot, KL: see ID.4 EVs, classic VWs, new Audis and more
Volkswagen Fest 2022 will take place this weekend, October 15 and 16, at Sentul Depot in Kuala Lumpur. The annual festival – returning this year after a two-year hiatus because you know what – is a celebration of music, culture and all things Volkswagen. Admission is free and is open 10am-10pm on Saturdays and 10am-8pm on Sundays.
There’s plenty to see for Volkswagen fans, new and old. There is a display of classic cars, including a Beetle, Kombi, Karmann Ghia, Scirocco and even a rare, fully restored Corrado. Of course, there is a full lineup of Golf through the years.
Those interested in newer models can view the full lineup of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia, including all Golf, Tiguan and Arteon variants on sale today. Also on the screen is SUV ID.4 EV fully electricis having its first official preview in Malaysia at the show.
Like Audi now part of the PHS Automotive Malaysia family, premium brands are also present. The Audi Experience Showcase has a wide range of the latest vehicles available in Malaysia on display, including brand new cars. A3 Sedan, RS3 Sedan, A5 Sportback and Q8.
Volkswagen owners visiting the festival can get a free 20-point vehicle health check for their vehicle for two days, offered through a subscription on Volkswagen Cares . appor on a self-sufficient basis (subject to availability). Besides, Das WeltAuto group will be on site for those interested in purchasing a used Volkswagen.
For the rest of the family, Battle of the Bands will take place on the main stage, along with special performances by popular local artists such as An Honest Mistake, Saint Kylo and Victor Trixter . There is also a wide range of food, beauty and lifestyle vendors at the market for everyone to enjoy.
