Our guest on Episode 48 of the Rider Magazine Insider Podcast is Dave Scott, who has gone solo on the TransAmerica Trail. This is Part 2 of a three part interview. We talked to Scott in Episode 46, where he told us about the logistical challenges of starting TAT – dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, transporting his KTM from Louisiana to North Carolina, and driving his fully loaded KTM through a storm and on the wet, muddy roads the trails. In episode 46, Scott went all the way to the Mississippi River. In this episode, we start over where we left off and Scott shares his adventures in the Ozarks, Great Plains, and Rocky Mountains, where he faced the biggest challenge of the trip.
