Visitor Championship 2022: Live stream, watch online, TV schedule, channel, tee time, golf coverage, radio
A large group of PGA Tour stars made the short car ride from The Country Club to TPC River Highlands for the 2022 Visitor Championship, advancing to Round 3 on Saturday with Xander Schauffele led by five. Following the US Open once again, this will be the 70th edition of the tournament and the 39th will be held at TPC River Highlands.
This location created favorable conditions for dramatic closing matches. There have been a massive 25 playoffs in its history, from Jordan Spieth’s epic pit from a beachside bunker in 2017, to an eight-hole showdown between Harris English and Kramer Hickok just last year.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, two of the world’s top golfers, hope to feature late on Sunday night as both had slightly disappointing performances at the US Open. McIlroy had an interesting start as an 18-hole lead. Unable to add to their major championship record, they will now look to add to their season winning roster, as will Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Schauffele and Spieth.
In total, 11 of the top 21 players in the world will be playing as the FedEx Cup Playoffs are fast approaching. With just eight weeks left on the PGA Tour’s regular season schedule, every tournament matters from here on out.
