Fred Bean The auto group acquired four Abington, Pennsylvania, dealerships, as well as a collision center, from the Rosenthal Automotive Group. According to Automotive NewsThe dealerships Fred Beans purchased include Acura, Honda, Hyundai and Mazda of Abington, with the collision center located at the new Fred Beans Honda dealership.

It’s unclear how much Fred Beans paid those dealers because Fred Beans chose not to share details of the deal with Automotive News. Fred Beans also wasted no time adding the Fred Beans name to the dealerships it purchased. The deal closed on Monday, and by Tuesday, Fred Beans had new sign-ups.

With the 4 dealerships that Fred Beans just purchased, Fred Beans now owns a total of 27 Fred Beans dealerships in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Fred Beans also owns two Fred Beans service centers, four Fred Beans rental locations and one Fred Beans parts warehouse distribution center.

CEO Fred Beans founded Fred Beans Automotive Group in 1975 and runs it with his daughters Beth Beans Gilbert, Barbara Beans and Jennifer Beans Keizer.

“This is an opportunity to grow our footprint in our target market, giving us the opportunity to have a strong presence in these new locations,” Beth Beans Gilbert told Automotive News. “We also see this expansion as a logical choice because we have had success selling the Hyundai brand and we are adding three new strong brands to our inventory including Acura, Honda and Mazda. ”
