Tyson Fury says he’s still retired

In a world where people on the streets no longer know who the heavyweight champion of the world is (Thanks to the boxing organizations!), Tyson Fury has shown he has the personality to attract attention. . Although he doesn’t own all four (yes, four) major heavyweight titles, the British giant has at least one in his hand and is also considered the world’s online heavyweight champion ( man beat man beat man dating back to the 1890s). Although Oleksandr Usyk holds all the other heavyweight crowns, it is Fury that is considered by many to be the top dog of the tournament.

And with good reason. Fury not only holds the aforementioned linear title, he’s beaten Deontay Wilder – probably the hardest boxer to hit when – 2/3 times, causing his massive goal to fall off the mat (thanks to Wilder’s thunderous punches) multiple times in the process. With all due respect to the enormously talented and undefeated Usyk, he hasn’t ruled out the kind of divisional formation Fury has, at least not yet. In fact, Fury proved how dominant he is this past April by knocking out top rival Dillian Whyte in thunderous, one-punch style.

Then something strange happened, or perhaps something not so strange if you’ve been following Fury’s career for a long time: Fury announced his retirement. He’s done this before, Fury has done. After stunning many by defeating then-heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, Fury, overwhelmed by his personal demons, retired from the sport of boxing. After getting over those demons – and interestingly, being open to the media about them – Fury returns to his journey back to heavyweight glory. So there’s reason for the WBC to be hesitant to remove its title from Fury’s thick waist this time around, which is why he might change his mind.

However, Fury showed his determination not to get into the sport of boxing. “I just read today that I am supposed to be retiring,” Fury recently announced in an Instagram post. “It was news to me. As far as I’m concerned, I’ll stay (out of the ring). “Fury, though, is capable of saying everything. Sometimes he can leave the impression that he is simply messing with the media. In addition, it will become boring when starting sports retired. However, at the present time, the boxer dubbed the “King of Gypsy” seems to be dissatisfied with the sweet science.
