Triumph and Gibson Partner for the legendary 1959 edition
The year is 1959, and you’re a stylish kitty with a brand new Gibson Les Paul slung across your back as you cycle down the beach at sunset to a bar show in our brand new Triumph Bonneville T120 me. It’s a picture to paint, and you know that person is too cool to go to school. And that’s the bird’s word, cha-o. If you’re the type of person who wants to recreate that level of fun in 2022, you’ll want to enter to win this set of 1959 Legends matching tournaments in this year’s Outstanding Gentleman’s Trip.
DGR is an event created to benefit a global charity that helps raise awareness about men’s mental health and prostate cancer. Protect your head and cover your butt, as they say. Triumph and Gibson have built this one-off custom duo of two true icons together since 1959, and they will be gifted to an extremely hard-working racer/player during this year’s event on… May 22. The person who raised the most money on the Distinguished Gentleman’s Trip will earn their own package.
Both the Les Paul Standard Reissue and the Bonneville T120 are continuations of the originals built in 2022, then customized with hand-engraved details at Triumph’s workshop. Les Paul features custom grip guards on Bonny’s engine cooling fins, along with engraved grip covers and more unique details. Meanwhile, the Triumph features a hand-painted guitar-inspired sunburst program, plenty of branded details, and some unique flair, like the trio of saddle grips.

If you want to be the cool guy to throw it back to the 1950s, you better raise funds right away! I wanted to try, but I never learned to play guitar, and I had carpal tunnel issues, so I’ll leave it to one of you idiots. Go get it! And while you’re here, see your therapist and endoscope. And hydration. And start a skin care routine.
