New York Track Chaplains Foundation, an organization that serves the community of steady workers and their families who make Thoroughbred racing possible at Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racecourse and Saratoga Racecourse, look forward to Wednesday, August 17, 2022 when the organization will once again host a Popularity Fundraising Brunch at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs.

“This event brings so much joy to the racing community and makes our hugely important programs possible,” said Chaplain Chief and CEO Humberto Chavez. “We’re excited to be resurrecting brunch after a two-year hiatus, and we’re hoping and expecting a large turnout.”
Chavez noted that funding opportunities are still available to interested people, groups or organizations.
The honoree at this year’s brunch will be Andy Serling, a television analyst and racing driver for the New York Racing Association. Past honorees for their dedication to the backstretch community include: Anne Campbell, Edgar Prado, Michael Dubb, Fay and David Donk, Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson, Letty and Kiaran McLaughlin, Lisa and Kenny Troutt, Debbie and Terry Finley, New York Thoroughbred Knights Association, and Irad Ortiz Jr.
The New York Raceway Chaplain serves the New York farmer and farmer community with enrichment programs for children, social, recreational, and educational services, and non-denominational religious services.
