Stardew Valley Creator shares an update on the 1.6 Console release
Stardew Valley creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone this week pushed out a brand new patch for the PC version and provided an update on the console update.
If you’re waiting for the Switch version of 1.6 Update, Barone reassured fans on social media that things are “still underway.” He went on to thank everyone for their patience. Here is the full message via social media:
@ConcernedApe – “Stardew Valley 1.6.6 is now available for PC. Mainly bug fixes and translation changes. Full patch notes can be found here: https://stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley -1-6-6-full-patch -notes/… The console and mobile ports are still being finalized, thank you again for your continued patience!”
Barone mentioned a goal of releasing 1.6 for consoles “as soon as possible” but did not have a specific date.
In case you were wondering, the latest update for PC (Version 1.6.6.) includes balance and gameplay changes, translation changes, bug fixes, and several related fixes to mods. In a previous PC update earlier this month, 40 new mine layouts were added to the game.
