LNJ Foxwoods Graded Bet Winners Subconscious will shorten his 4-year-old debut by up to a mile in the $100,000 Thunder Road Stakes (G3T), the first race in Santa Anita . Park February 5th.
This 4-year-old won the Twilight Derby (G2T) match on October 31 in his first attempt at the bets, catching up to speed before getting up to take a 1/4 length win at 1 1/8 mile distance. Returning to the Hollywood Derby (G1T) on November 27 with the same distance, he finished late after picking up pace to finish in fifth.
The subconscious most recently turned to a five-part move: 59 4/5 on the Santa Anita main track on January 30 for coach Richard Mandella. He will dash off the tracks with Juan Hernandez in the six-horse field.
Solis/Litt raised $380,000 to ensure Subconscious Weaned from Hidden Brook’s shipment at the November 2018 Breeding Stock Sale in Keeneland. Gelding won or was placed in five of the seven starts and had an income of $227,820.
Agave Racing Stable and Sam-Son Farm’s 2020 Seabiscuit Handicap (G2T) Recount missed the winner’s circle in five starts last season. He finished last in third place in the Frank E. Kilroe Mile (G1T) last March but hasn’t run since August.
