A highly anticipated Florida coastal property — from List of the most attractive hotel openings in 2024 — is about to open its doors and the luxury Marriott hotel is finally taking reservations.
Reservations are now open for Longboat Key Resort St. Regis starting in early October, the hotel told TPG on Thursday. “We’re really trying to personalize the experience, and I think we’re really capable because of our size and amenities,” he said. “We can really get to know the customer and really personalize your stay.”
The luxurious experience continues at the spa with the Celebration Bar serving champagne and fresh-squeezed juices, along with plenty of ways to pamper yourself, from Finnish saunas to eucalyptus steam rooms, bathing snow, cold plunges, infinity vitality pools overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and more. And for those looking to get some exercise on their vacation, The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort features a fitness center with Technogym equipment.
Family is also not something to worry about. There’s a thoughtfully designed children’s program with paid and free activities, like making shark tooth jewelry.
“It’s really about being an ocean explorer,” van Workum said of programming for children. “Our number one goal is to help children have lots of fun while also appreciating the wonders under the sea.”
But the real attraction is the 350,000-gallon aquarium with dozens of stingrays, more than 2,800 local reef fish and a pair of Aldabra turtles. Guests can book a swimming experience with marine biologists or take a free class to learn about local marine life.
