The new Final Fantasy XVI “Ambition” trailer gives an in-depth look at the characters and world of Valisthea – PlayStation.
Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that our latest trailer – Ambition – is now live. Instead of focusing on the action as we did in the last reveal, this time we wanted to give the world a deeper look at the lore of Final Fantasy XVI and its rich cast of characters — with The Rulers are front and center.
The flames of war spread as Valistea entered her twilight years. Where will fate lead the Dominants and what future awaits which realm at the end of this bitter conflict? There are still many more questions to be answered, many more truths to be revealed.
As far as development is concerned, the team has made the turning points and entered the home field, and is currently focusing its efforts on debugging, fine-tuning, polishing, and optimization.
We’ll be back soon with more information about the world of Final Fantasy XVI! For now, enjoy the new trailer and new insight into the two new characters. But first, some additional words from Director Hiroshi Takai.

Our third trailer has finally arrived and is filled with exciting new information that provides a better picture of how the game’s setting, lore, and characters tie into our compelling story. . Hopefully it is worth the wait!
As the game neared completion, the team focused entirely on debugging and final tuning. Now that things are starting to come together, the game is preparing to be something truly special.
