Tyson Fury sure knows how to stir the pot. Whether he shows up in Batman costume for a press conference, jumps in and retires, or makes outrageous statements online, the WBC’s undefeated heavyweight and heavyweight champion is always looking for the best. Find a way to shake things up. Wednesday is no exception. “Hi guys,” the 6’9 British boy said in a social media post. “For all the suitors out there who want to make war (between him and Oleksandr Usyk), I give you all seven days, until the first of September, to make money. If not, thanks a lot, blown up, I’m retired. The man known as the “Gyspy King” then went on to add the following: “And also, guys, I forgot to mention, all the offers they make must be sent to their attorney, Robert Davis. me, in writing with proof of funds. So let’s start the games. Boom! “
Maybe Fury told the truth, but at this point, who can tell? He recently announced that he’s retired, then claims he has a coach that he knows, then insists he hasn’t retired, and now threatens to retire again… all in A few more months. One thing’s for sure – he knows how to play mind games. Usyk, however, is a quirky character himself. He’s also very, very good in the ring. Moreover, he is the only thing standing between Fury and the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. It would probably be very difficult for Fury to give up the opportunity to hold “all the belts” just because a large amount of money was not offered to him for a week. However, this is Fury, so it is difficult to read what the man might do or say next. A person doubts that he would not have it any other way.
In the summer of 2021, it looks like Fury will face Anthony Joshua for the undisputed heavyweight crown. However, Fury was asked by a judge to face Deontay Wilder for the third time. Fury did just that, beating the tough American in the process. Joshua, however, continues to face Usyk, who defeated him last September. A rematch last weekend led to another Usyk win, which then led to everyone now demanding a fight with Fury to decide who is the true king of the heavyweight division.
