SDUFEX Underwater Film Festival 2023 opens to receive applications
San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition (SDUFEX) announced plans for their 24th Annual Underwater Film Festival. The event, which will be held at the Qualcomm Auditorium in San Diego on October 6 and 7, 2023, is expected to have over 500 attendees for different movie streams each evening. It has been four years since the film festival was held live for two nights. The festival will also be an event in conjunction with films available online.
The festival is open to entries from tomorrow, March 1, for just over three months, until June 15. As usual, films must feature at least 50% underwater footage and include can be submitted in the category of Up to 5 Minutes or Up to 10 Minutes. Each filmmaker may submit a total of two films, and each entry must be uploaded through FilmFreeway.
