Porsche Cayenne facelift 2023 revealed before launch in Q2


Porsche confirmed the update Cayenne will debut in the northern spring, and there are new official development photos of the crossover going through its paces.

All of our previous spy shots were taken on the runway or in the snow. With these official photos, Porsche wants to emphasize cayenne off-road capabilities.

The Zuffenhausen-based brand has confirmed a number of new features that will be available on the updated crossover. These include a new semi-active chassis, “new and widely digitized display and operation concepts with enhanced connectivity functions” and brighter high-definition matrix LED headlights.

Unfortunately, the photos released by Porsche today do not reveal any new styling details about the facelifted Cayenne, which has been clearly documented through a continuous series of spy shots since 2021. .

Outside, the biggest changes will be slimmer headlights, a revised bonnet, a more aggressive bumper design and new taillight graphics that span the entire width of the tailgate.

Interior spy shots show that the Cayenne will ditch the analog tachometer in favor of a fully digital instrument cluster. Some prototypes were also shot with a 911stout style gear selector in place of more traditional lever.

At this stage, it remains unclear what powertrain changes Porsche has planned for the Cayenne facelift.

The third-generation Cayenne crossover made its debut in 2017 and a “coupe” variant was launched in 2019.
