Paul Nicholls hits one of his favorite hunting grounds with 34-1 treble

Tuesday’s race comes from three locations, with Wincanton is meeting feature. There are several competitive handicap competitions, with Catterick and Newcastle provides supporting cast of races. We will have horse racing tips for all three, including one NAP of the day and 15 lucky tips.

Wincanton has a fun hunting ground for 13-time Champion Coach Paul Nicholls. The Somerset-based conductor has a 29% strike rate at the venue over the past five years and he made three dramatic changes there on Tuesday. They form a 34-1 accumulator and you can find all the details below!

Nicholls’ first chance of the day was Sun Flower, who was trained by Adrien Fouassier in France. He was a double winner for that stable and the horse he beat on the following occasion went on to win the Prix de Craon Class 1 in September. No wonder he was so underrated in the competition. England debut / hurdles, but he could only finish 5th.

Still, he shaped as if he might need to run, and that Exeter form has worked well ever since. If he improves as expected, he should be a second lucky for his top relationships.

His least likely chance, by price, is Atholl Road. He’s been an impressive winner in the opening two hurdles and, given the reputation he’s earned after those successes, it’s disappointing that he hasn’t been able to move on from them. Beaten well in Grade 2 on his next start, the next two chases this term were both below his best.

However, he is capable of better than that, and today he is back on handicap with a danger of 129. He should match the step up to 2m 4f and he is a very attractive pick in This small lawn field.

Winner of the list in the padding, Rainy day woman was defeated on her hurdles debut at Ludlow in November. However, she acted like she was in need of strength training, and she posted an RPR of 119 mocking her opponents. I was in step up to 2m 5f here last time.

That’s much more like it, and she’s still a smart prospect to cross the line. She won’t mind backing down to 2m 4f on this occasion and taking on the weight of her male competitors, she should get over 2/3 of the wood under Harry Cobden’s hands.
