“The Cloud”: Best of Show, Giacomo Marchione (Italy)
Underwater360 Group, the contest organizer Asian Diving Exhibition (ADEX) announced the winners of the show’s signature photo/video/art contest, Voices of the Ocean. The big winner was the Italian shooter Giacomo Marchione, his breathtaking picture “The Cloud” was named “Best Picture.” Giacomo’s prize includes a Seacam camera case worth $10,000 as well as a Backscatter Mini Flash 2 Dual Remote Bundle worth $1,225.
The Voice of the Ocean live judging event is the culmination of the three-day ADEX 2024 Ocean Festival. This year’s jury—Tobias Friedrich, Mikko Paasi, Erin Quigley, White Berley, William Tan, Imran AhmadAnd Yoshi Hirata—saw dozens of shortlisted entries in seven categories. Congratulations to the winners: Miguel Ramirez (Photo of the Year), PT Hirschfield (Compact Camera Photo of the Year), Guido Villani (Environmental Photo of the Year), PJ Aristorenas (Mobile Photo of the Year), Plamena Mileva ( Underwater Fashion Photo of the Year and Artwork of the Year) and Matthias Edling (Video of the Year).
