Everything you need to know about Ôrəbella, Bella Hadid’s New Perfume
As an editor try new things perfume every week, I can say that I almost always experience a knee-jerk reaction, love it or hate it. And honestly, it’s usually the latter. (We’re super picky about scents here!) So when I received Bella Hadid’s New scent trio A few weeks before the official launch, I had my doubts. Not only are most celebrity lines impressive, but there is often a sense of disconnect between the celebrity and the product itself.
Hadid’s New Line, ‘OrəbellaHowever, this is one of the few exceptions. In fact, everything about the launch speaks to the model and activist’s approach and preference for scent. Not to mention, after weeks of smelling and wearing each of the three perfumes—salt muse, Window2SoulAnd The flame blooms—I can confirm that there is not a single weak link in the group. In fact, it’s quite annoying that I have trouble choosing a favorite or just a recommendation one to a colleague or friend. Each medley of notes feels carefully arranged and perfect for different moods and feelings. Trust me when I say you’ll want all three crystal-shaped bottles (an ode to Hadid’s mother’s classic perfume collection) on your vanity this summer. Read on to learn every last detail about the launch—from the first hydrating and alcohol-free formula to the brand’s charitable initiatives through ‘Ôrəbella’s Alchemy organization.
Behind ‘Ôrəbella
Smell one of the three ‘Ôrəbella scents and you’ll smell the scent of Hadid’s personal passion project. Although the model has long loved perfume, her sensitivity to traditional alcohol-based fragrances inspired her to create completely unique, high-quality alternatives. Hadid began making her own essential oil blends, growing lavender and even distilling her own oils on her family’s farm. Finding joy in the art of creating her own scent and witnessing positive feedback from family and friends fueled her creative path and founding of ‘Ôrəbella.
Named by the brand as a “skin freshener”, each perfume formula is not only free of irritating harsh alcohol, but also wonderfully moisturises the skin thanks to its signature biphasic formula, which has two layers. individual. First up is the nourishing (and trademarked) ‘Ôrəlixir, which includes moisturizing snow mushroom and a hydrating blend of five oils (camellia, almond, olive, jojoba and shea) to help nourish skin while enhancing the longevity of each scent. The second layer is designed to enhance and enhance the wearer’s mood and aura through a special blend of aromatherapy essential oils and delicate fragrances with high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients. clear. One very important note: To activate the two-phase formula, shake the bottle before spraying directly onto skin.
Inspired by Hadid’s memories, the three scents (which we will talk about shortly) were developed by Hadid in collaboration with the world’s leading perfume houses Firmenich and Robertet. And because giving is key to Hadid’s role as an activist, ‘Ôrəbella’s Alchemy organization launched alongside the fragrances to create a tangible impact of positive change across diverse communities. According to a press release from the brand, this philanthropic initiative will continuously support multiple organizations that align with the ethos of ‘Ôrəbella through a minimum donation of 1% of total net sales plus additional support through service hours, community outreach and social promotion. (Currently, said programs include Lower East Side Girls Club And International PATH.)

salt muse
Top: sea salt, pink pepper, CO2 extract
Between: Agreement of olive trees, figs, lavender
Base: cedarwood, sandalwood, amber
Twist my arm and I’ll tell you that Salted Muse is probably (at least for now) my favorite. To me, it’s like a windy, salty day of sailing or what your clothes and hair smell like after a night of camping on the beach under the stars.
Window2Soul
Top: lemon, geranium, mint
Between: jasmine, Damask rose
Base: tonka beans
If you love floral perfumes, Window2Soul is the bottle for you. Did you know that you will walk when you get the first, uplifting signs of spring in the air? Yes, it’s like taking a deep breath that thing.
The flame blooms
Top: Bergamot, cedarwood, clove leaves, cardamom
Between: Monoi Tahiti, jasmine
Base: Patchouli patchouli
Blooming Fire is difficult to put in the box. On one hand, it’s warm and earthy, but unlike many warmer scents on the market, it’s not overly spicy or sweet. I like to describe it as a warm and toasty, almost skin-like scent—in other words, you might wish you had a natural, perfume-free scent.
