Back in October, WhatsApp stopped supporting iOS 10 and iOS 11, meaning users on these apps could not update WhatsApp to the latest version. Now, this is bad news for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C users as they may have to find another way to text.
Other iPhone users can simply update their iOS firmware to continue using WhatsApp. To update your iOS version, go to Settings, tap General, and then tap Software Update. If your device supports the latest firmware, it will automatically download the update. However, if you are a Iphone 5 and 5C, this is bad news for you. WhatsApp will soon stop working on your iPhone, and December 31 is the last day you can use the app.
