New Neptunia GameMaker R: System and Character Evolution Revealed

Compile Heart has revealed some new information about Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution, including the exploration system, battle system, and information about Rival Maker’s characters. You will be able to explore around the map in groups of four on bicycles. You can also use the bike to race other characters and customize them to your liking.

With dungeon exploration, you’ll fight enemies using a team of four characters. The combat system focuses on combo attacks, and the more combos you put together, the more damage you deal. One way to do this is through the Chain Link mechanism, where you time a character to switch while a party member is attacking. They will score a next shot, which will start a sequence. Chains can provide bonuses like increased damage. Chain Link is also a way to increase your Link Level, which you can then use to unleash the ultimate attack.

Compile Heart also publishes information about five Rival Makers. You can check them out below:

• B-Sha (VA: Ayana Taketatsu) – She is one of the Golden Three. She is a young girl with a pure and innocent personality, she loves things like heroes, toys and robots. As Presto Mask, she acts as a mysterious hero fighting evil. However, everyone knows who she is.
• C-Sha (VA: Haruka Tomatsu) – She is one of the Gold Thirds and the leader of the group. She is the kind of reliable and reasonable older sister who always finds a way to fight against strong opponents. She took on a mission as a hunter and hunted monsters in Gamindustri.
• F-Sha (VA: Mana Nakatomi) – A taciturn, emotionless and mysterious existence that has passed through every area of ​​Gamindustri. She is searching for a mysterious “curse” and she considers the Goddess of Failure as her enemy.
• K-Sha (VA: Rina Hidaka) – She is one of the Golden Three. Usually, she has a very indecisive personality and loves to read, and she speaks in a soft voice. She works as an intelligence officer to prevent game trafficking and piracy. The moment she held a gun in her hand, she became a cold warrior.
• S-Sha (VA: Maaya Uchida) – She is one of the Golden Thirds. Although she gives off a cool and elegant impression, she is really just a chuunibyou. Her catchphrase is to say “I’m not interested” in things she’s not interested in. In the past, she almost died while working on a movie and the Goddess of Failure saved her. As a result of that incident, she treated the Goddess of Failure unfriendly.
