Atlanta is so beautiful wild location. It’s big on cars, so much so that city officials weighed in Some punishments are quite harsh if you get caught doing something stupid like speeding or street racing. But the city is so car-centric that a rapper opened a club and sports bar at a local gas station.
Owned by Migos rapper Quavo and local Atlanta restaurateurs Kelan and Vinny Watson, the club is appropriately named V12 Restaurant And Sports Bar and is built inside a BP gas station across from Public University Georgian turmeric. The 7,500 square foot sports bar and club has two VIP rooms known as ‘The Kelan’ and ‘The Vinny’. The club’s interior looks like a pretty upscale place, with shiny metal accents and European furniture from the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.
The main features are a retractable roof and a fake Lamborghini made from neon lights that Quavo used during his performance on the Tonight Show.
Vinny Watson speak He hopes “guests will have unforgettable memories at V12”. From the looks of things there should be no problems. A video circulating on social media shows the club looking completely packed. It even looks like people are using gas pumps as parking spaces; There is almost no room left for vehicles in the parking lot.
It seems unlikely that the club will be able to operate much as a gas station. It will be interesting to see how long something like this lasts. Hopefully it lasts long enough for me to test it. It’s one of those random things that you have to go through before it randomly disappears and no one remembers that it existed. So if you catch me in Atlanta at this place, I’ll be serving bottles of wine.
