Oh Reddit. Somehow, this is home to some of the worst people on the internet, incredible advice, great memes, terrible memes, and a supportive community all at once. Chances are, if you’re interested in something extremely specific, there’s a subreddit devoted to it. Want to read the interpersonal drama created by people pretending they’re asking for advice on real-life situations? Just go to /r/AmItheAsshole. Want Miatas’ images to be used in creative and unexpected ways? You’ll like /r/miatalogistics.

To be clear, this is not a new subreddit. It’s been around for a while, was shut down when the only remaining moderator was banned, and was brought back about a year ago. But it’s new to me, and I feel our loyalty Jalopnik Readers will love it too. After all, we got a lot of comments the last time I wrote about use Miata to move into a new apartment.
Unfortunately, you can’t embed Reddit posts in Kinja yet, so I can’t share my favorites, but believe me when I say that people get a lot more creative than just stuffing. New kitchen appliances to the trunk and passenger seat. Sometimes it’s something crazy such as transporting the full engine into the passenger seat or bringing home a gaming chair.
But some of the most interesting posts are those where the owners have clearly put a lot of time and effort (and often money) into modifying their Miata so they can enjoy the hobby and live their lives. his life without having to give up ownership of the Miata. It’s amazing to see how dedicated people are to their cars even if they have a kayak or a mountain bike they have to haul around.
