GDL D license is now eligible for 4,000 kg B BTM trucks
The Ministry of Transport has decided to allow temporary D license holders to drive trucks with curb weight increased to 4,000 kg, which is an increase of 500 kg compared to the previous 3,500 kg. .
According to the ministry, this will benefit 3% of vehicle drivers without a license plate currently operating a vehicle weighing between 3,500 and 4,000 kg.
Prior to today, drivers of vehicles sitting in this gray zone must move to the next class and use an E license. This temporary “upgrade” was made to help truckers during the recovery period. during this Covid-19 pandemic and will be canceled in the future.
