Kyrie Irving is said to be allowed to trade

Kyrie Irvingtime in Brooklyn seems to be coming to an end and the Nets may be a few days away from being able to fully restart.

Superstar Guardian requested and received permission to trade with other teams, according to the New York Daily News. It is the latest development in a story that has become a tale of controversy between the two sides.

Irving initially sought a long-term deal with the Nets, but those discussions reached an impasse due to the organization’s concerns about his commitment to the game.

The situation may affect the future of the compatriot superstar Kevin Durant, who is said to have been out of touch with the main office since the Nets were knocked out of the knockout stages in April. Three years ago, Irving and Durant defected from two teams at this year’s NBA Finals to join forces in Brooklyn, which immediately spawned championship expectations. But that venture didn’t start well on day one, as Durant missed all of their first season alongside a tattered Achilles and Irving sidelined the crucial part of the past three seasons through injury and personal reasons.

Joy Taylor explains why the Nets can’t tear things down because they can’t ‘could afford to lose KD.’

That stopped the Nets from reaching the second round in the East. Now they seem to be about to completely rebuild.

Irving has until Wednesday to choose his $36.9 million player for next season. Failure to do so would likely be a loss for both him and the team, as it limits Brooklyn’s confines as well as his potential suitors to a handful of non-candidates. Members boast substantial room – if Irving is looking for ESPN’s money. Adrian Wojnarowski reports Irving could also sign with Lakers for a $6 million exception.

LA is one of those six teams are said to be on the longtime All-Star guardian’s wish list, along with Slippers, Knicks, Heat, 76ers and Mavericks. The deal makes it possible for Irving to keep his current salary and perhaps a long-term deal.

Either way, he could have played his last game for Brooklyn.
