Keeneland will begin selling tickets for the upcoming Spring Encounter, which will be held April 7 to 28, on Tuesday, February 14 at 9 a.m. ET. There is a wide selection of tickets for Meals, dedicated stands and General Admission Tickets and all tickets must be purchased in advance through the official Keeneland Online Box Office at ticket.keeneland.com/racing ; Sales also include Derby Day at Keeneland.
The 15-day Spring Encounter offers races Wednesday through Sunday, excluding Easter Sunday, April 9. Posting time is 1pm daily. Keeneland will award a season record of $8.05 million to 19 stakes this season, starting with a $600,000 Ashland Central Bank (G1) and Toyota Blue Grass (G1) prize pool of $1. million dollars at opening on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Both stakes are prime targets for the nation’s top 3-year-olds.

Cash and purchases are not accepted at the main gate on race days. Seasonal Tickets, which provide General Admission Tickets throughout the meeting, are available for purchase prior to opening day.

New feature for Spring Encounter: Tailgating on The Hill now available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
To mark the growing popularity of tracking on The Hill, Keeneland is expanding its traditional Friday/Saturday schedule to now include Sundays during the Spring Encounter.
No tickets or reservations are required to experience a day of Keeneland racing in this unique setting. Fans on The Hill can watch the racing action on giant TVs and place their bets in the betting tent while live music and food carts create a festive atmosphere.
