The Thoroughbred Stolz have announced that they have acquired a farm in southeastern Edmonton where their livestock operations will now be concentrated. Their three stallions Dynamic Sky, Medallist and Readyforprimetime will stand at the ranch. The Thoroughbred Stolz will also provide services such as skis, mare care, pony booting, horse training, sales preparation and rehabilitation. Future plans include building a new barn and providing foal care.
Pulpit’s graded bet winning son, Sky Mesa, Dynamic Sky made over $1 million on track. The Sovereign Award winner excelled in all weather, grass and dirt before retiring from the race. Dynamic Sky is not participating in the mare’s victory, Murani. Dynamic Sky runner, My Girl Sky ($120,699), just won the 2022 black Thunder Bay Stakes at Woodbine on October 21. Dynamic Sky’s top descendants also include black stakes winner, Jilli Marie ($141,173).
The classified multi-money medalist has enjoyed a successful racing career with career highlights including setting a bet record for the Dwyer G2; Set a bet record in Kenny Noe Jr. Handicap. and equalize the record with his win in the G3 Vice Minister Handicap. The medal winner is also placed in G1’s $350,000 Carter Handicap. The son of classic winner Touch Gold, Medal was retired with earnings of $421,375. The medal winner is a half-brother to G2 Winner Air Command and Grsome-ranked G2, out of G1-ranked Santaria, daughter of champion sprinter Star de Naskra .
The medalist has proven himself to be a successful breed with a progeny that includes high stakes ranked runner-up, Ibboyee ($701,822) and high stakes winner, Medal Winner ($461,516). Two-year-old Medalist, Itssy Bitsy Izzie, shows great potential having reached all four of her starts so far this season. Medalist has progeny gross earnings to date of over $12 million including all 23 equity winners and median earnings per beginner of over $75,000. Medallion ponies continue to be steady earners with long careers.
Readyforprimetime is the only son of Male Halo’s son, More than Willingness stands in Canada. More Than Ready was one of the most influential males of his time and has spawned 2,118 world record individual winners including 216 worldwide stake winners and 6 champions, fourth highest of all time. Readyforprimetime will be a freshman stallion at Stolz Purebred for the upcoming season.
Three stallions will be available during the 2023 season at Stolz Thoroughbreds and will be offered limited books only to approved mares. Dynamic Sky will cost LFSN $3000; Medals for $3500 LFSN; Get ready for prime time by Private Pact.
