The electric motor is powered by a Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 31.8 kWh. This gives the Bao 5 an electric-only operating range of 125 km (according to CLTC standards).

On the charging front, the battery supports DC fast charging at up to 100 kW, which can take the battery from a 30 to 80% state of charge in just 16 minutes. There is also a truck-to-vehicle (V2L) system that can provide up to 6 kW of power for equipment and accessories.

Interior highlights include three displays, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch passenger-side touchscreen, and a 15.6-inch center touchscreen. . A three-screen setup is standard on higher-end variants sold in China, along with a head-up display with a projection area spanning 50 inches.
