JUST1 J22 . helmet
JUST1 has just introduced the new J22 helmet, the successor to the revolutionary J12 and the most premium helmet from the brand.
With new patented and exclusive design and technical features, the J22 is the result of 10 years of continuous research and development based on the experience and success of the J12.
That includes SDC or Sequential Density Construction, with the J22 designed to manage power linearly and head to head in impacts through this system. SDC consists of two layers, an EPP shell (red) and an EPS layer (grey), each using specific materials of different densities to manage energy from varying magnitude impacts.
Tried and tested ventilation system allows for proper heat separation and is designed to maximize airflow to your head, allowing you to have a cooler ride in warm weather conditions. .
One also notices the metal film built into the chin vent, which makes it less likely for rock chips and flying debris to enter those areas.
The ERC system is a technical feature designed to accelerate and make it simpler and safer to remove the helmet from the rider’s head.
Pulling a single button, located in the center/front part of the chin guard, gives the ability to remove the entire inner lower part, including the two cheek pads and the front EPP of the chin guard. Once removed, with just one movement, it provides more space and accessibility to an injured rider’s head.
The JUST1 J22 runs four shell sizes in a regular helmet and in a 3K carbon fiber shell, along with four EPS and EPP sizes.
A new Peak Release system is also included, with a removable and washable flat-shaped inner lining. A ProTX antibacterial lining treatment is also done to keep everything fresh.
There’s also a fully ventilated EPS lined chin bar, integrated vented pothole guard, and all nine intakes and six air vents for optimal breathability.
The J22 is ECE certified and weighs 1250 g ±/-50 g.
In the box you will receive a padded helmet pouch, a cloth helmet pouch, cleaning cloth, decorative stickers and instructions for use, and accessories including spare tops, top extenders, Anti-glare stickers for under the top, action camera mounting points, and hose clamps.
