High-ranked heavyweight Joe Joyce is leaning towards Tyson Fury for the upper hand in his WBC title defense against Dillian Whyte on Saturday.
Sitting at number one with WBO and at number two with WBC Joyce is close to hitting her first shot at the world titles. The 36-year-old has returned to training after suffering a wrist injury and is believed to be involved in a fight with Fury’s coaching partner Joseph Parker.
‘The Juggernaut’ could face a winner this Saturday in the future and ahead of the Wembley showdown he gave his prediction to The Mirror.
“It will be a great fight. But I saw Fury at range shoot Dillian down with a stab and win. “That is unless Whyte can use good head movement, inward and body and head activity. It will definitely be an interesting fight.”
Joyce is undefeated in his career so far with a 13th from 13th win since making his debut in October 2017. The Londoner took out wins over veterans Bermane Stiverne, Bryant Jennings and Carlos Takam and impressed. strong on the runaway train Daniel Dubois 18 months ago. “For me, it will be a tough fight for sure but definitely a fight that people will want to see. It should be an easy fight to make. “
