A massive battle with more than 60 people broke out on a cruise ship over fraud allegations this week — and it was all caught on camera.
Fox News reported that a scuffle broke out between passengers on a Carnival cruise ship off the coast of New York City. The store spoke to a witness who was also a passenger on the ship and confirmed to have overheard that the altercation broke out over allegations of fraud during the trip.
The argument on the cruise ship lasted for an hour
Theresa James, a travel agent on the yacht, told reporters the fight started just before 2 a.m. on the fifth floor of the ship, which houses the dance club and casino. James allegedly overheard an argument about an alleged three-way contest between passengers that upset their significant other when they learned about the rendezvous point.
A Twitter user named Nyeem0 shared his video from the tumultuous journey battle. He added,
“I was at the bar, listening to my own music and sipping Temple shirley, then the fight broke out! they were scrambling for sureeee, injured and cut out of the glass. “
During the hour-long scuffle, witnesses said beer bottles were smashed, and a woman may have been slashed amid a chaotic scuffle with dozens of people. You can see the security efforts to break up the fight from footage shared online, starting on the fifth deck of the ship and ending on the first.

Cruise line officials are said to have informed the Coast Guard amid the altercation. The Coast Guard launched a boat from Staten Island to escort it to the port of Manhattan, according to WNBC-TV.
“Thankfully no serious injuries were reported and our security team intervened,” Carnival Magic said in a statement. “The ship arrived as scheduled this morning and authorities were notified and met with the ship to interview suspects and witnesses and conduct an investigation.”
The NYPD is still investigating the situation.
